My Story

As a child, I’ve always wanted to cook. I watched my dad and my grandma cook all the time. My dad was more of the “experimental” type, and my grandma was more of the down-to-earth “good ole country cooking” type. I was blessed enough to get the best of both worlds. I watched them growing up, and I realized that what they did was amazing, and how it made people feel was great. We would always get together and “eat and be happy”. Everybody would always come hungry and leave stuffed! I knew then that I was destined to be a CHEF. I knew that it was my calling!

In 2016, Veronica competed and won the title of Chopped Champion on The Food Network show, ‘Chopped’. She appeared on Season 29 Episode 4

From a young age, she had a love for cheesecakes and grew that passion into designing flavored cheesecakes for the restaurants she worked in. Her cheesecakes also made an appearance at Gracie Mansion’s LatinX reception in 2017, where she featured a pina colada cheesecake, in 2018, a passion fruit and mango cheesecake, and in 2019, a café con leche cheesecake.

In 2019, Veronica also took on the role of Executive Chef instructor for one of the restaurant associates’ teaching kitchens in one of the largest financial firms in the world, United Bank of Switzerland. She opened the school and unfortunately closed its door six months later due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Veronica took her school and turned it into a global success for the investment company. Teaching multiple cuisines all over the world virtually she has taught nearly 1000 classes worldwide and over 350 in-person classes.

Veronica has now relocated herself and family to Springfield, MA, and is looking to set food trails all over the city, bringing her bold, diverse flavors!
